Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving

Ambiguity is normal in today’s workplace. This course equips participants with a clear, repeatable framework to analyze issues, test assumptions and make confident decisions.

Using practical tools and Canadian workplace examples, the course guides learners to frame problems effectively, separate facts from opinions and generate options that balance risk and impact. Participants will practice the skills on realistic scenarios and leave with a simple method they can apply with their teams.

Through interactive discussions, applied scenarios and practical exercises, participants will strengthen judgment and collaborate on better decisions.

Who Should Attend?

This course is designed for: 

  • Individual contributors and leaders who make decisions or assess trade-offs
  • Project teams that need to evaluate options and recommend next steps
  • HR and cross-functional partners who facilitate problem-solving discussions

Delivery Format: 

  • Instructor-led Training (In-person or Virtual Live Session): Facilitated sessions that include instruction, discussion and applied learning activities. Participants have the opportunity to ask questions and practice core concepts in real time.
  • Self-paced Online Course: An independent learning option with short video lessons, guided examples and practical resources. Participants can review content at their own pace and apply it to their workplace context.
