Conducting Internal Workplace Investigations

Workplace investigations are among the most sensitive and high stakes responsibilities HR professionals and leaders face. This course equips participants with the knowledge, tools and confidence to conduct investigations that are fair, thorough and legally defensible.

Grounded in legal compliance and best practices, the course covers each stage of the investigation process, from scoping allegations and applying trauma informed interviewing, to managing evidence, assessing credibility and writing clear and defensible findings. Participants will also explore how to recognize systemic issues such as harassment and bias, and how to support leaders in implementing outcomes effectively.
